DETROIT, Nov. 29, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Compuware Corporation (Nasdaq:CPWR), the technology performance company, today announced that John Van Siclen, General Manager of Compuware's application performance management (APM) business, was named a Top 25 Disrupter of 2012 by CRN. This annual list--part of the publication's 2012 Top 100 Executives list--salutes the most influential and innovative channel executives in North America. These executives have shown an extraordinary ability to not only challenge the status quo but to turn it on its ear, driving changes in industry dynamics that deliver more lucrative opportunities for partners.
Van Siclen was recognized for his key contribution in helping change the face of Compuware's APM platform, broadening it to include must-have capabilities for modern data centers, such as monitoring solutions, mobile, big data and cloud applications.

Key selection criteria included: channel sales volume, channel investment and resources, channel advocacy and visibility, and performance in UBM Channel research projects (including the Annual Report Card and Channel Champions). A panel of UBM Channel editors made the final selections.
