The Chisholm Trail Arts Council (CTAC)proudly presents "Kylie Morgan" in concert as a part of their LIVE concert season 2012-13. CTAC is one of the oldest arts councils in the state of Oklahoma and has been "providing accessible artistic programs that enhance the quality of life, encourage economic development and educate the people of Stephens County" for many years.
Oklahomas own Kylie Morgan is a talented singer/songwriter who began writing songs at the age of 13. Now, at 17, she is currently working on her latest CD with Land Run Records to be released this year. She was recently voted one of the Country Music Associations Who New to Watch. Kylie tours frequently with her band and has opened for Steel Magnolia and Ty England. In addition to writing and performing, Kylie is the peer spokesperson for PACER.orgs National Bullying Prevention Center and the celebrity spokesperson for Prevent Blindness Oklahoma. This summer Kylie and her band received the opportunity to open for country artist, Jason Aldean, in the new television show called Opening Act.
Kylie Morgan will spend her time in Duncan, the heart of the Chisholm Trail, leading an anti bullying forum with Duncan Public School students and performing that same evening. You do not want to miss this up and coming young star!
The performance is at the Simmons Center's Jack A Maurer Theatre and begins at 7:30 pm. Tickets may be purchase online at http://www.chisholmtrailarts.com or at the Simmons Center Convention Center through this Thursday at 4 pm. Tickets will be available at the box office for purchase that evening.
