Digital Marketer Engage held its October live meet up event last Wednesday, October 24, and gave away prizes to two winners of two separate contests.
DM Engage member Mark Mitchel won a brand new Kindle Fire for referring his marketing friend Clay Leben. Entries were made in the raffle-style contest for every guest a member brought to the event, so Marks pal Clay was the key to winning the e-reader. Mark orchestrates online courses to teach others how to illustrate children's books. He attended DM Engage to learn how to increase traffic of authors to his page.
In another Twitter-based contest, Brianna Collins had the quickest social media trigger finger, as she earned the honor of the earliest tweet promoting the event. Brianna is the New Media President at the University of Texas, and won with a combination of her usage of the #DMEngage hashtag, tweeting @DMEngage, and retweeting tweets about the event the most.
The meet up was deemed a success with its presentation from Richard Lindner and Chris Oyokolor, both senior directors at Digital Marketer. They shared their insight with the crowd of excited marketers, who took advantage of the evening migling and meeting new like-minded people.
Launched in May 2012, Digital Marketer Engage sought to take the sense of community built through Digital Marketers creation and bring it to the local market. Cities all over the country (and the world!) have started DM Engage chapters not only to review new Digital Marketer content, but listen to speakers, network, and create a collaborative community. DM Engage seeks to create a local support system for digital marketers and nurture an environment of growth, connection and collaboration.
DM Engage members from all over the globe will be able to start their own groups and organize their own meet ups. Theyll be given presentations straight from the minds of Digital Marketer and have an opportunity to meet and connect with the smartest marketers in their area.
Digital Marketer has been working hard to create newsletters, RAW Trainings, split tests, and special reports filled with the most comprehensive and up-to-date information to supercharge digital marketing strategies.
In the last year, DM Pro and DM Labs were launched, providing Digital Marketer customers with even more ways to access expert training and vital marketing tools.
