American TV fans are in for a treat come next spring when Australian heartthrob actor Brett Tucker lands on the small screen in the brand new ABC drama 'Mistresses'. The brand new drama series also features Alyssa Milano, Rochelle Aytes, Yunjin Kim and Jes Macallan. Post production work is already under way on the series which has been adapted from the original British version which first aired from 2008-10 in Britain and helped Tucker boost his profile considerably in Britain.
According to a recent report on the TV and movie website moviefavorites.org Brett Tucker had already made something of a name for himself in Britain after starring in the long running primetime soap 'Neighbors'. The Australian soap has long been a staple of British television and has been on the air continuously for over 25 years. Tucker played the much loved character 'Daniel Fitzgerald' in 'Neighbors' after launching his career playing 'Max Regnery' in children's series 'The Saddle Club'. The TV and movie website Moviefavorites.org features a link to ABC's official website which provides full details of the star studded cast .
Australian audiences also know Tucker from his starring role in the hugely successful TV movie 'Halifax f.p: The Spider and the Fly', where he played the character 'Scott Lovejoy'. Initial reports from test screenings of 'Mistresses' suggest that Tucker's character in 'Mistresses', Harry Dillon bears more than just little resemblance to his 'Scott Lovejoy' character.
