PETALUMA, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 02/22/12 -- MarketLive, Inc., the leading provider of enterprise-class eCommerce technology and services, today announced that plus-size women's apparel cataloger, Ulla Popken, has launched a new Facebook store that is fully integrated with its MarketLive eCommerce platform.
MarketLive partnered with Ulla Popken to develop the new Facebook store, which is powered by MarketLive's Social Store for Facebook™ and enables merchants to create fully functional Facebook stores through their existing MarketLive platform and administration console.
MarketLive has incorporated Facebook social widgets throughout the path to purchase to engage the shopper in the social shopping experience, including features that allow you to invite your friends while you shop, see product suggestions, and comments that friends have left for you.
The new Facebook store provides consumers with a shopping experience similar to the one they get on Ulla Popken's website -- but without directing the consumer away from Facebook. With MarketLive's Social Store for Facebook, consumers will see drop-down navigation bars, a zoom function and have the ability to complete transactions on Facebook. The integrated system also means that the merchant can add or update information on the eCommerce site and the new information will appear in the Facebook store at the same time.
