Hello After Effects experts,

I'm semi-new to After Effects. I had After Effects 4.1 and I was advised to find a copy of at least After Effects 5.0 to get the "Caustics" and "Wave World" Effects that I was looking for by one of the original software writers who created those Effects.

So I found and bought a new, unused copy of After Effects 5.0 only to find that after I installed it those Effects weren't included in the installation software, but were actually only available for an after installation download from Adobe.com back in 2001, but that download is no longer available.

I'm still trying to work my way up to getting at least an AE 7 upgrade, but I have to wait a few more days or another week to see if I can get that upgrade installer.

I'm writing to ask if anyone out there may still have the old style After Effects 5 or 6 Effects set that contains the Caustics and Wave World Effects plug-ins from 2001.

I know its a thin, thin, anorexic chance to find these, but since I'm not sure if I can get my hands on the AE 7 upgrade that I can afford, I'm following up on the chance that I could still track down these old 2001 .AEX Effects files to put my After Effects folder on this PC.

This would be for a PC, and they would be files probably named "Caustics.AEX" and "Wave_World.AEX", that belonged to the larger set that also contained "Dance Card", "Card Wipe" and "Foam" that were originally available as an after installation download from Adobe.com for After Effects 5.0 and possibly for AE 6.0 as well.
