SUBJECT: opening files
I downloaded some artwork that was scanned by an HP Photosmart printer/scanner into their HP Photosmart Studio file.
I saved the files as .jpg and as .ai
When I open the files in Illustrator as either .ai or .jpg, I cannot edit the image. I cannot select any part of the image to edit it.
I've tried to save as pdf and then open. I am at a loss.
