SUBJECT: Headless Error
If the encoding always stops in the same place, maybe there's a problem with the clip it's stopping on, i.e., it's mpeg format or it's defective.

As a test did you try exporting to something like AVI or uncompressed and then importing back into a new timeline, then trying again to encode to H264? This might help you troubleshoot the problem.
