SUBJECT: Trouble moving Data from Focus Firestore FS-4 to Computer

I'm desperate for help. I am trying to move data from a Firestore FS-4 to computer and when I try to play the moved files they are scrambled. The files will play back from the FS-4 through the Canon XL2 that I used to shoot them but after transferring them to computer they are scrambled. PLEASE HELP IF YOU CAN ASAP!!!
