SUBJECT: XL1 audio out of sync with most recent ver. of FCP
KEYWORDS:
I noticed on my footage shot with a Canon GL1 that the a/v is "in" sync, but all XL1 footage isn't. It's ranging from 8-23 frames off. Very annoying. Oh, in case this matters I only shoot in "normal" not "frame" modes.

I'm using a iMac 2.0 intel with 2 gigs of ram and using a Maxtor 500gig firewire 400 external drive for capture. OS is running 10.4.11 with the latest version of FCP as of August 2, 2008.

I'm starting to wonder if it has anything to do with the audio capture rate in the camera since I was using the on board stereo microphone and a wireless lav mic. I think the setting for that is 32hz instead of 44 or 48hz. The capture preset in FCP was set at 48hz.
