SUBJECT: Weird problem trying export using QT Uncompressed 10 bit
KEYWORDS:
Hi,

I was experimenting last night trying to export a project that I am working on out of FCP 6.0.5 using QT uncompressed 10 bit.

The problem is that it is not exporting the entire sequence. The sequence is 9:14 min in length but it ALWAYS (after many attempts) only exports 7:24 min of the content.
It's not compressing the length of the movie, it's just cutting it off.
I even tried exporting a 2 min video using the same settings as above and it only exports 1:30 min of the sequence (every time).

I even tried exporting the sequence using Compressor at uncompressed 10 bit and I get the same result.

I can't understand why. Has this happened to anyone else? Is there a fix for this?

(My sequence settings are NTSC DV 23.98)

Thanks.

UPDATE!

I was able to send the entire sequence to Color. That works.

Then I tried right clicking the sequence in the bin, selected "Export" "Using QT Conversion".
In the "Settings" for the video I changed the Compression Type to "Uncompressed 10-bit 4:2:2" and I kept the Frame Rate set at "Current"
In the "Size" window I changed the Dimensions from "Compressor native (637x477)" to "Current".
I exported that and it worked!

One thing that I wasn't sure about in changing some of those settings is should I have switched the Dimensions from "Compressor native" to "Current"?
