Additional info:

When I use 'Print To Video' it will output the material fine, but just for ordinary viewing of material on the timeline during editing it won't give me the option of selecting anything other than 'None' or 'Digital Cinema Desktop Preview - Main' as an output in the Audio/Visual settings.
