SUBJECT: After Effects and Augmented Reality
I know how to track motion in AE, but i recently saw this video [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YZqzf8luvw8#watch-main-area] and thought if the same thing could be applied to motion tracking in AE or another editing tool. If you could somehow take the tracking data of the camera position and reverse it, so you have the tracking data of all the points in relation to a static camera, which is what you would have with a pre-recorded shot uploaded into AE. That would, in my mind (if it can be considered sane at the moment), make tracking special effects and the likes to shots MUCH easier. If someone knows how to do this, or better yet, let me know how to do it (on a mac), i would be forever grateful.
Thanks in advance.
