Hi, sorry for the slow response, had a "computer free weekend"...

What you're asking goes way way beyond a single post response. Rigging and animating a character is just about the most challenging thing you can do in any 3D application. People spend months and years learning how to do it. It's not something that you'll just be able to "knock out" after looking at a few tutorials.

That being said, you have to start somewhere, and Kiwi's basic release 10 rigging tutorial is a good place to start...

Don't bother with any tutorials that were done prior to version 10. That was when the entire character system was rewritten.
