LOL, David, that is an OLD copy of C4D. it seems to me like your issue is not so much with the C4D installer as it is with the operating system. You might have better luck over in the OSX forums on apple's support website.

What you need to do is figure out a way to get an os9 install to run on a non legacy version of OSX. It used to be that apple had an os9 emulator built into OSX, but that all went out the door with later versions.

The community of OSX users is large enough, that someone out there is probably trying to install an OS9 app even as I type this.

Hope that helps. I know you don't want to hear this, but I feel I have to say this anyway: TIME TO MOVE INTO THE 21ST CENTURY DUDE! that version is literally from the last century!
