I am one of the first to purchase FreeForm when Forge Tech first launched it over 1 year ago.
I find it is one of the most powerful and intuitive plug-ins for AE I have had the pleasure to work with to date... no Math required :)
The majority of interaction is right in the comp window of After Effects. They even have cool little U.I. controls in the effects window :) You can still work with Sliders etc. for all controls in FreeForm if you like but I find this comes in handy to rough out the sequence very quickly I can then go in and refine via the sliders or numeric controls.
Also a very cool feature and I believe that FreeForm was the first to introduce this concept/notion... is that FreeForm has a Reset control at just about every level. This come in real handy if you like everything you have done except say the way that you have sequenced your lights in FreeForm... simply reset your lights - not the rest of your work :)
I highly recommend this plug-in and I wish that more of the developers looked at it closely and mimicked certain things that they have introduced to AE.
