I'm afraid this is a documented fault in Satori PhotoXL 2.29.

The problem only arises when you apply a Fill object to the Infinite Background - i.e. empty area of a layer.

Workaround - Ensure the layer contains no areas of transparency before adding the Fill. You can do this by adding a simple Filled Rectangle object and make it the lowest object in Z-order on the layer.

This bug is fixed in subsequent versions (FOC to paid-up users & £29.95 to freeware users - go to www.satoripaint.com).

I hope that this helps but don't hesitate to ask for more info re workaround etc.
