There's a new tutorial on www.animation-backgrounds.com, called: "Create a Texture Map for 3D"
The tutorial is aimed at intermediate level Satori users.
Based on a recent commercial project, the tutorial guides you through the process of building a set of custom-made brushes, and using it to paint a small picture that you can "tile" to create a texture map. This texture map can then be scaled to whatever size you need for your 3D projects. The whole tutorial is downloadable as a 1.1 Mb. .ZIP file, along with the set of custom brushes.
The techniques outlined in the tutorial highlight Satori's usefulness in your 3D projects, as well as in normal graphic work.
If you have any criticism of the tutorial, or if you feel that it could do with fuller explanations, don't hesitate to send your constructive comments. Skip the death threats, paternity suits, divorce petitions and ransom notes, please.
All the best, Michael
