SUBJECT: recording into acid 6 - pitch and time out of sync
when i try and record, say, an acoustic guitar track into my computer mic into acid, the track is always saved and plays back at a faster tempo and a higher pitch. the shift is not uniform - if i record two tracks and try to pitch shift them back down by the same amount, they are still not in sync with each other. it speeds up each track by a seemingly random degree each time. i've tried playing with recording latency settings and the default setting for recorded tracks is "one-shot." the problem persists when using different microphones. it's made using live recorded tracks impossible. what can i do?
