I've been using acid for close to 10 years now, and I just updated to windows 7. I use Vegas pro on a daily basis and it runs flawless. When I use acid, it does a weird thing. It freezes for about 3 seconds when I zoom in to a decently close up view, and continues to freeze as I drag, or slide. It's very strange. Feels like the computer is too slow to handle the program. But this computer is brand new and pretty nice.

Processor : AMD Atholon II X2 240 Processor 2.80 GHz
Ram : 4.00 GB
System type : 64-bit Operating System

Plus I've got a dedicated 1GB video card

Whats going on here? Any ideas how this program could be running sluggish? I could record a screen video if this doesn't ring a bell for anyone. It's like I zoom in with my mouse wheel and it takes 4-5 seconds to register. And when I slide a track/move a track, same behavior. Any ideas? Thanks,
