Have been copying some old family VHS tape via a Canopus advc 300 (first time use with this).

 Two issues 1) there was no video preview using Sony capture so I had no idea where I was on the tape and 2) capture stopped for different recordings on the tape. So when I walked away to let it work I came back to find just one captured clip from the tape.

With no preview its a real pain trying to find  where restart capture and because capture stops when the tape is running means I have sit with it to stop/start the tape and capture.

Any help appreciated
