The more I dug the more this issue prevailed. I have been in contact with SONY several times trying to get some insight and clarification in this matter. Vegas is a great program but I don't want to have client go from one unstable and lessened production scenario to another. I noticed quite a number of posts from long time Vegas users that didn't have problems with version 10 experiencing major problems with v.11.
I understand the aspects of configs, bugs, service packs, fixes. It's standard fare. But I guess I'm trying to assuage any angst about moving forward with purchases.
Any info and pointers would be great. I believe the latest build is 683 for 64bit? Do you see any possible issues with the system below?
The system is DELL XPS i5 SYSTEM (64 bit)
Intel i5 (NEW 3rd Generation series) Quad core processor
16 GB RAM (CRUCIAL brand)
120 GB SSD system drive (OCZ brand)
1 Terabyte 7200 RPM edit drive (Western Digital brand)
1 GB video card (nVIDIA GTX560)
- Blu-Ray burner (LG brand)
- Windows 7 Ultimate
Thanks!!
