I'm converting PDF's from MS Word and Powerpoint and modifying/saving the final PDF in Acrobat 5.0 (saving as 3.0 compatable)... when I try to open them up on some computers (using Acrobat Reader 3) and I get an error message that says "can not find the the color space CS2" (sometimes a different CS# for different documents) followed by a dialogue box asking "Suppress further errors?". Say yes and the images in the PDF don't display at all. Text and other grayscale line art does. Is there a color management setting or some other document setting that I'm missing?

well, i`ve got the same problem!

And, yes, even with Acrobat 5.0

`till now, no idea how to get over it...

I was also having the same difficulties. So I erased all of my acrobat readers and redownloaded the new acrobat 5.0 and I haven't had a problem since. I hope this info helps.

I had the same problem. It seems to be a well-known bug for Acrobat Reader 3.0. You should get Acrobat Reader 5.0 free athttp://www.adobe.fr/products/acrobat/readstep2.html

That's a 11 MB download. I'm currently doing it, so don't know the result yet. But it should work. I'll post another answer if not.
