In last week's "Baby Steps" tutorial for the Forge FreeForm 2 plug-in for Adobe After Effects, Tim Wilson of Plug-In Central introduced you to the interface of this powerful tool, and its ability to create animations using grayscale information on hidden layers. It's a process called Displacement Mapping, and and FreeForm does it exceptionally well.

Another of Forge's strengths is elegant, organic motion, and Tim's second tutorial is a quick look at how easy it is to create that in FreeForm.
