What is the best way to set up a rotoscope so that the alpha and user mask will be cleared/saved with every frame. So far the documentation hasn't been much help with this.

Hi Dave.
When you rotoscope in Satori and want to "animate" your actions rather than have them affect every frame of your piece you must select the "Animate" button on the rotoscope toolbar.
1) Open your existing clips or create a new canvas.
2) Select the "Animate" button on the Rotoscope toolbar.
3) Start editing/painting.
4) Press the red arrow that faces to the right to save the current frame and move to the next.
5) Repeat steps 3 and 4 until you are done.
I don't have Satori running right now (had to reinstall Win2k and haven't reinstalled Satori yet) so I hope I haven't missed anything. I haven't used this feature in a while.
Hope this helps.
Adam.
