i read the lightwave newsgroup quite regularly (every day almost). it is a large, lively and enthusiastic group of people. sometimes the issue of a wishlist comes up, but only very few people would 'join the thread' as well. i guess there are many reasons.

I can understand people not submitting new ideas. But I can't understand why people wouldn't want to vote and influance future versions of Satori. I mean, if you don't care about future versions why bother with the current one?

We have the perfect chance here and now to try and encourage the development of a REAL Photoshop killer.

Yeah, I admit PS is a great 'little' package but there are things that FFX (and even its sibbling versions) can do that PS can't. Handle decent sized (and above) files without dying, infinately more powerful undo (and change) history ...

Get the best of what the competition has to offer and add it to a new and improved FFX and the oppositition can weep in the dust trail we (Satori and its loyal users) leave behind.
