If you consider 7 voters on 8000 hits overwhelming. That's right, 8000 visits since the 10th to Satori Central and, I would hope, the "Wish List" page and only 7 voters.
Somebody, call the coroner.

I've just visitedhttp://www.zdnet.com/downloads/stories/info/0,10615,59824,00.html and discovered that while there have been 63,144 downloads of Satori PhotoXL there are only 17 reviews/user ratings.
Conclusion: Satori really does appeal to introverts :)

Mark:
I thinks it's about time to plan a Satori convention and art contest. With all of those Satorites out there in space, it could be a wild affair. It could be a costume event and everyone could cross dress.

you heard the man, fellow users :)
cast your vote, for a better tomorrow!
adam, don't worry about that too much. i read the lightwave newsgroup quite regularly (every day almost). it is a large, lively and enthusiastic group of people. sometimes the issue of a wishlist comes up, but only very few people would 'join the thread' as well. i guess there are many reasons.

Thanks William.
I can understand people not submitting new ideas. But I can't understand why people wouldn't want to vote and influance future versions of Satori. I mean, if you don't care about future versions why bother with the current one?
Oh well.
Adam.

Too true.
We have the perfect chance here and now to try and encourage the development of a REAL Photoshop killer.
Yeah, I admit PS is a great 'little' package but there are things that FFX (and even its sibbling versions) can do that PS can't. Handle decent sized (and above) files without dying, infinately more powerful undo (and change) history ...
Get the best of what the competition has to offer and add it to a new and improved FFX and the oppositition can weep in the dust trail we (Satori and its loyal users) leave behind.
With Adam's Wish List and Spaceward's dedication to providing the most powerful graphics package available, we may finally see the birth of a graphics system to change graphics packages forever.
Why crawl with Raster when you can fly with Vector!
Eat dust Adobe!
