SUBJECT: Anyone using ProDAD Heroglyph for titles over graphics in older versions of Vegas?

http://www.prodad.com/home/products/videotiteling/heroglyph/300049059,l-us.xhtml

For $99 it looks like it is worth a shot.  Anyone have hands on experience?

i think it's crap, because I don't like the workflow with it, better try it out first and consider it being USD 219,-

for sophisticated text work i would prefer using After Effects, but I would try Vegas' tools first. Protype Titler seems to have proficient capabilities in animating Text and it's already present for evey Vegas Pro user. Not easy to use, the workflow could be revamped, but nice animations after all.

I'd recommend getting the demo of Heroglyph and find out yourself. Perhaps it is the right tool for YOU ?

You could get a look at ProAnimator as well, but the price tag could hold you back.

I'd like to hear what others recommend for your task.

i just came across BluffTitler and remembered your search for a Titler. It seems to be an alternative worth to try.
